Introspection

This series seeks to capture a very personal moment in the life of the artist, the liberation.
Throughout his life, in his childhood, he experienced situations in which only today, through art, can he express and thus heal.

Created in the year 2021, after going through a few particular years after having lived through a pandemic, we can appreciate different women in her work, in different situations, leaving the viewer free to interpret and let the imagination fly without a horizon...

It turns out to be such an interesting series because we can appreciate real moments, difficult situations that happen in everyday life, in which girls, women, boys and men have suffered a lot...

The artist feels liberated by being able to transmit through her work, what we can still relate to in this century as unexpressed, unverbalized situations, which to this day continue to be "Tabù".

His wish is that the viewer can empathize with lived circumstances and thus be able to visualize, understand and accept since it is a way to evolve.
Sofía Balut Páez, from an early age felt deep concern for art and great admiration for what can be expressed through it. What led her to investigate different techniques to finally focus today on the series "Liberarse" so that the attendee can feel that one is always in time to react, to get rid of patterns, fears, lived situations. That it's never too late.

The moment is today, the liberation is now.
